jagvillhabostad.nu is Sweden's only housing policy association for young people. Our most important mission is to stand up for all young people's right to a safe home by monitoring and acting on the needs, rights and interests of young people. We want to continue to strengthen our local chapters and our non-profit commitment and therefore jagvillhabostad.nu is looking for a Membership Manager.
Job description:
As Membership Manager , you are the link between the active members and the organization as a whole. You are the one who supports the work of all our active members and makes sure they have the tools they need to run their business.
Examples of work tasks:
- Supporting the activities of local chapters for e.g. annual meetings, recruitment of new board and other significant activities
- Hold internal training sessions for active members
- Developing the necessary templates and support materials for operations
- Develop and disseminate internal communication in the organization
- Manage membership administration and contact new active members
- Plan and lead membership recruitment activities
Education and experience:
It is a requirement that you have experience of associations and/or voluntary work. We attach great importance to personal suitability for this position.
In addition, we would like you to:
- Has training in power studies, change management and project management
- Have experience managing other non-profits either as an elected official or as an employee
- Has experience in recruiting and engaging with non-profit organizations
- Has experience in membership recruitment
- Has experience in association technology and delivering internal trainings
It is an advantage if you have:
- Knowledge of housing policy
Employment
We offer a permanent position of 50% starting as soon as possible or as otherwise agreed. We apply a six-month probationary period.
Right now there is the possibility to work from any location but you must be prepared to travel to Stockholm a few times per semester. The position has goal-oriented and flexible working hours - largely on your terms, so it can be combined with, for example, studies... Weekend and evening work occurs at member events. Travel to different locations is also included in the service
